The Steller Sea Lion in Alaska is listed under the Endangered Species Act, although the populations have been on the increase since 1980. They can be found in numbers on exposed rocky outcroppings in traditionally used rookeries to breed and pup during summer. Adult sea lions a very big, anywhere from 700 pounds to well over a ton, and are very curious and fun to watch. This original painting is reproduced in a high quality mini Giclee print using acid free paper and fade resistant inks, each print is hand signed by the artist and matted with acid free silver grey black core mat.
