Skagway, the famous gold rush town, is also known as the "Garden City of Alaska".  Gail fell in love with Skagway during visits to complete a large painting for the U.S. Customs Border Station, commissioned by the Federal Art-in Architecture program.   Alaska artist Gail Niebrugge created this beautiful original acrylic and watercolor painting using the meticulous technique of pointillism (painting with small dots).
