The Sea Otter lives in shallow water areas along Alaska's shores and usually do not migrate and are members of the weasel family. They are gregarious and may become concentrated in an area, in rafts of hundreds. Sea otters eat sea urchins, crabs, clams, mussels, and fish, and place the food on their chests while resting on their backs, and use their forepaws and sometimes a rock to crack shells. This watercolor painting by Gail Niebrugge is reproduced in a high quality mini digital Giclee print using acid free paper and fade resistant inks, each print is hand signed by the artist and matted with acid free silver grey black core mat.
