The
road to Whittier, Alaska, is gilded with glaciers as it winds
through Portage valley. Artist Gail Niebrugge hiked the foot path
to Byron glacier and found it hidden by clouds, as the mists slowly
lifted the magnificent glacier came into view, inspiring the
