Hiking Alaska's high country artist Niebrugge saw abundant wildlife, watched Dall sheep graze, and saw incredible vistas in dry, rocky, alpine conditions.  She observed a Dall sheep ewe nurture her lambs while carefully picking their way along the cliffs.   Alaska artist Gail Niebrugge created this original painting using the meticulous technique of pointillism (painting with small dots).
