An Artist’s Journey in Paintings and Prose For twenty years, Gail painted sweeping landscapes, even learning to fly to get aerial perspectives of mountains and glaciers. Then, while standing in a meadow one day visualizing a landscape painting, she looked down and, for the first time, considered the flowers as subjects. Thus began her fascination with wildflowers.
