This landscape
of a beautiful log barn was part of an early
colonists homestead that was carefully moved to a
permanent location in Palmer, Alaska and restored.
Artist Gail Niebrugge has been researching and
seeking barns as subjects for original paintings for
more than thirty years. Her travels have taken
her from the tip of Baja California all the way to
northern Alaska where she has found each barn unique
unto itself, telling its own story.
